Add and use Attachments

Add files and links to a Unit when they provide context the team and Orbit should use.

Add an Attachment

  1. Open the Unit.
  2. Open Attachments.
  3. Add a file or paste a supported link.
  4. Give it a clear name or description if the original title is unclear.
  5. Confirm that it appears in the Unit.

Attachments can include PDFs, documents, images, Google Drive files, meeting or demo links, and other supported URLs.

What Orbit can use

Orbit can use supported attachment content as signals. It can also use attachments that came from a connected source item when Quely can access and process them.

An attachment that is inaccessible, unsupported, or permission-restricted may not contribute useful context.

Choose useful attachments

Add the source closest to the decision or work. Avoid uploading duplicate versions without explaining which one is current.

If an attachment is unavailable

  • Confirm the file or link still exists.
  • Confirm Quely and the participant have access.
  • Try a supported format.
  • Replace an expired shared link.
