Create your first Space

Create a Space for the project, initiative, team, or theme you want to understand.

Create the Space

Quely Home

Open Spaces.
Select New.
In Create a new space, enter the Space name.
Under Invite members (optional), search for teammates and select anyone who needs access.
Select Create.

Name the Space and invite the people who need its context.

Quely opens the new Space in a new browser tab.

Choose a useful name

Use a name that explains the scope from the Spaces list, such as “Checkout redesign” or “Release 4.2.”

Add the first Unit

Start collaborating

In the new Space, select Add Unit, then choose Work, Context, or Group.

If it does not work

Confirm you are in the correct Organization.
Confirm your role can create Spaces.
Confirm invited teammates belong to the Organization.

Your first 20 minutes in Quely

Accepted Answer

Use this path to move from a new account to searchable, connected work.

1. Connect one work provider

Open Connections and connect Jira, Azure DevOps, GitHub, Linear, Wrike, monday.com, Trello, or Todoist.

2. Create a Space

Open Spaces, select New, enter the Space name, optionally invite members, and select Create. Quely opens the new Space in a new tab.

3. Add a Work Unit

Select Add Unit > Work, choose the connected provider, then hand-pick items or choose an available sync method.

4. Start a Thread

Open a Unit and post one useful question or update in Threads.

5. Ask Unit Orbit

Select Ask Orbit and ask a question grounded in that Unit, such as:

| "What is missing before this work can start?"

6. Review Lenses

In Orbit's side rail, select Lenses. Review the available Decisions, Actions, Risks, Opportunities, Open Questions, and Next Steps.

7. Ask Home Orbit

Return to Home and ask a cross-Space question, or start with Find, Draft, or Schedule.

What success looks like

You have one connected provider, one focused Space, real work in its Queue, a shared discussion, a Unit-scoped Orbit answer, and access to the global Home Orbit.

Connect your first tool

Accepted Answer

Connect your account before importing work, scheduling meetings, or discovering teammates.

Open Connections

Open your profile menu.
Select Connections.
Choose a provider and select Connect.
Complete the provider authorization.
Return to Quely and confirm the row shows Connected.

The current personal Connections page lists Google, Microsoft, Jira (Atlassian), Slack, GitHub, Linear, Wrike, monday.com, Trello, and Todoist.

Choose the right provider

Work providers: Jira, Azure DevOps through Microsoft, GitHub, Linear, Wrike, monday.com, Trello, and Todoist
Calendar and identity: Google and Microsoft
Inviting teammates: Google, Microsoft, Atlassian, or Slack can supply teammate suggestions
Context sources: Confluence is currently available in the Context Unit builder

Connection does not import everything

After connecting a Work provider, open a Space and select Add Unit > Work. You still choose the account, project, and items or sync rule.

If it does not work

Confirm the correct provider account is signed in.
Confirm your provider account can access the needed workspace or project.
Reconnect if authorization expired.
For Trello, complete the additional connection modal shown by Quely.

Quely uses a persistent left sidebar and focused workspaces for Home, Spaces, Assign, and Meetings.

Main navigation

The left sidebar contains:

Home: global Orbit across accessible Spaces
Spaces: browse, create, pin, archive, and open Spaces
Assign: cross-Space Kanban and capacity view
Meetings: calendars, scheduling, Orbit recording, and recordings
Organization: Organization settings and members
What's new: product updates

The sidebar also includes Search, the Organization switcher, Recent Spaces, Pinned Spaces, All Spaces, and Folders.

Open global Search from the sidebar. You can also use Command/Ctrl + K, Command/Ctrl + /, or / when a text field is not active.

Inside a Space

The center area shows the open Unit and its tools. The right side begins with Threads. Select Ask Orbit to switch to Orbit, then use its side rail to move between Chat and Lenses. Use Threads to return to team discussion.

How Quely works

Quely connects work, context, conversations, and meetings, then uses Orbit to retrieve information, create Lenses, and help people take action.

Home is the global Orbit workspace

Home contains the prompt Ask Orbit anything about your work. It can search across every Space you can access. The starting actions are Find, Draft, and Schedule.

Home Orbit can answer a question, draft a Knowledge document for a Unit, prepare a schedule, or push a suggested work item to a supported provider.

Spaces organize related work

A Space is a persistent workspace for a project, initiative, team, or theme. Its Queue contains Work Units and Context Units, organized with Groups when needed.

Work and Context are the two Unit types

A Work Unit is linked to a task, ticket, or issue in a connected delivery tool.
A Context Unit is native to Quely and builds a focused understanding from selected sources.
A Group organizes Units. It is not another Unit type.

Create or join your Quely organization

Accepted Answer

An Organization is the shared Quely environment for your team.

Create an Organization

Sign in to Quely.io.
On Find your team, select Create your organisation.
Add an optional logo.
Enter the required Organization name.
Select Create organization.
On Invite teammates, enter email addresses or skip the step.

The creator becomes the owner. Onboarding invitations use the Contributor role.

Organization setup happens before Space creation.

Join an Organization

Open the invitation using the email address that received it, then accept or decline the invitation. After acceptance, choose the Organization from the Organization switcher.

If it does not work

Confirm you signed in with the invited email address.
Ask an administrator to resend the invitation.
Check the Organization switcher in case you are viewing another Organization.
Contact Quely support if an accepted invitation still shows access denied.
