Create a Context Unit

Create a Context Unit when the team needs a living understanding of a subject rather than another task.

1. Type

  1. Open the queue at the bottom of the space
  2. Select Add Unit > Context.
  3. On What should I understand?, choose Custom.

Customer, Feature, Initiative, Release, Team, Theme, Competitor, and Product area are visible but marked Soon.

2. Info

Describe what Orbit should understand in your own words. Orbit creates a proposed title and description. Review and edit both before continuing.

3. Connect

  1. On Where should I look for this?, choose Confluence.
  2. Select the relevant Confluence spaces, page trees, labels, or page status.
  3. Under What to surface, choose focus areas such as Risks, Momentum, Decisions, or Blockers.
  4. Choose How far back: 30 days, 90 days, or All time.
  5. Add anything else Orbit should know.
  6. Review the displayed Understanding accuracy.
  7. Select Add to space.
