Manage Orbit scopes, sources, chats, and privacy

Orbit answers depend on scope, source access, and the active private chat.

Choose the right scope

  • Home: every Space you can access
  • Unit: signals attached to the open Unit
  • Meeting: the selected meeting and its processed content

Orbit cannot use a Space, provider item, file, or meeting you cannot access.

Manage chats

Use chat history to reopen a related conversation. Start a new chat when the subject, goal, or working scope changes. Unit Orbit includes chat-history and new-chat controls, with rename and delete support in the chat list.

Understand privacy

Your prompts, follow-ups, and Orbit chat history are private to you. Other participants do not automatically see them.

The following become shared according to their destination permissions:

  • Lenses
  • Threads
  • Documents and Diagrams
  • Meetings and recordings
  • Work pushed to a provider

Improve source quality

If an answer is incomplete:

  1. Confirm Home, Unit, or Meeting scope.
  2. Confirm the source is connected and current.
  3. Confirm both Quely and your account have permission.
  4. Check whether a file or meeting has finished processing.
  5. Add the missing source or ask in the scope that owns it.

Share intentionally

Move only the useful, reviewed output into a shared surface. A private chat does not notify or inform the team by itself.
