# Organize Units with Groups

Use a Group to keep related Units together inside one Space.

## Create a Group

1. Open the Space.
2. Select **Add Unit** > **Group**.
3. In **Create new group**, enter a unique name.
4. Add an optional description.
5. Create the Group, then add or move related Units into it.

The name cannot be **default** and cannot duplicate another Group in the same Space.

## Use a Group when

Several Units belong to one release, milestone, workstream, or customer request and should keep the same Space access.

Use a separate Space when the audience, access, or outcome should be different.
