# Organize and manage Spaces

Use pins, archives, and Folders to keep your Spaces easy to reach.

## Pin a Space

Use the pin control on a Space row or in the sidebar menu. Pinned Spaces appear in the sidebar's **Pinned** section.

## Archive or restore a Space

The Space creator can archive an active Space from its row action. Open the **Archived** filter and use **Unarchive Space** to restore it.

Archiving removes the Space from the active view without deleting its context.

## Use Folders

Folders appear in the sidebar below Recent, Pinned, and All Spaces. Use them to group Spaces by team, customer, program, or product area. Spaces can be moved into Folders through the sidebar controls.

## Create a separate Space when

* The audience or access should be different
* The work has a separate outcome
* The context would make an existing Space too broad
* The Units need a separate Queue

Use a Group when the Units belong in the same Space.
