1. Open **Spaces**.
2. Select **New**.
3. In **Create a new space**, enter the **Space name**.
4. Under **Invite members (optional)**, search for teammates and select anyone who needs access.
5. Select **Create**.

Quely opens the new Space in a new browser tab.

## Choose a useful name

Use a name that explains the scope from the Spaces list, such as “Checkout redesign” or “Release 4.2.”

## Add the first Unit

In the new Space, select **Add Unit**, then choose **Work**, **Context**, or **Group**.

## If it does not work

* Confirm you are in the correct Organization.
* Confirm your role can create Spaces.
* Confirm invited teammates belong to the Organization.
