# Connect Google Meet or Microsoft Teams

Connect a Google or Microsoft meeting provider so Quely can use availability, schedule conversations, and return meeting context.

## Connect the provider

1. Open **Meetings** and select the settings control.
2. Open **Accounts & calendars**, then choose Google or Microsoft.
3. Complete the provider authorization flow.
4. Approve the required calendar and meeting permissions.
5. Confirm the connection is active.

## What the connection supports

Depending on the provider and current release, Quely can:

* Check participant availability
* Schedule a meeting
* Create conferencing details
* Add the Orbit recorder
* Store recordings, transcripts, and notes
* Produce meeting Lenses

## Schedule from context

Whenever possible, schedule from the Unit or Thread that created the need for the meeting. This keeps the resulting recording and insights connected to the work.

## If the connection fails

* Confirm the correct provider account is signed in.
* Confirm calendar access was approved.
* Ask an administrator whether third-party applications are restricted.
* Reconnect an expired authorization.
